Accessibility Statement

Last updated: June 2026

Plain-Language Summary

Accessibility is the core of what we build. This website targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA, with Level AAA as a goal on student-facing product flows. We are not perfect — if anything is hard to use with a keyboard, screen reader, or other assistive technology, please tell us and we will fix it.

1. Our Commitment

IncluShift builds special education technology. Accessibility is not an add-on for us — it is the product. We design and test against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 and aim to exceed the Level AA legal floor set by the U.S. Department of Justice's 2024 ADA Title II web rule (28 CFR Part 35).

2. Conformance Status

This website (inclushift.com) is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. “Partially conformant” means that some parts of the content may not yet fully meet every Level AA success criterion. We treat Level AAA as a target on student-facing product surfaces rather than a site-wide claim, because full AAA conformance is not achievable for all content.

This site has not yet undergone an independent third-party accessibility audit, and we do not yet publish a Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) or Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR). We will update this statement when that work is complete.

3. What We’ve Built In

  • Full keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element.
  • A “skip to main content” link at the top of every page.
  • Semantic landmarks, a logical heading order, and descriptive labels for screen readers.
  • Color and contrast chosen for readability, with a muted, low-saturation palette to reduce visual stress.
  • Respect for the operating system’s “reduce motion” setting — animations are disabled when it is on.
  • Responsive layouts and adequately sized targets across phone, tablet, and desktop.
  • An English and Spanish interface, with the page language announced to assistive technology.

4. Known Limitations

We are actively working toward fuller conformance. Known areas for improvement include completing an independent audit, expanding automated and manual testing coverage across every page and viewport, and continuing to refine contrast and focus behavior on complex interactive components. If you encounter a barrier we have not listed, please report it.

5. Report a Barrier

If you have difficulty using any part of this website, or you need information in a different format, contact us and we will respond and work to provide the information or fix the issue: support@inclushift.com. Please include the page address and a short description of the problem.
